3. Alt Rock From the 90’s
Ok, this is a piggy back off of number 2, but this station is my most treasured creation. And that includes the working volcano that won me Honorable Mention in the 4th grade science fair, ‘cause really, who wins a science fair with a volcano? Nobody, that’s who. 5. Shannon Wexelberg
Shannon is one of the worship leaders at Woodmen Valley Chapel...and she is ah-mazing. Just yesterday I heard someone refer to her as a “Psalmist”, and she has mad piano skills...not to mention the fact that she’s the best vocalist I’ve ever heard. Ever. Here’s her website. To give you a frame of reference here, she’s better than me. I don’t like to brag or anything, but...yeah I do. Let’s just say I’m real good and she’s about 50 times better.
6. Lists of Ten Things
Hey, kinda like this one! A few friends and I send each other a daily list of ten things we’re excited about. It’s a good exercise in thankfulness...except for those days when my list somehow comes out titled “Ten Things That Piss Me Off”.
7. Faux Fried Chicken
Gary and I could probably eat this stuff every night, so I’m sharing the recipe with all 3 of you who read this blog. I recommend dipping it in a little Hidden Valley Ranch/Cholula Hot Sauce mixture that I like to refer to as "Rancholula". Delish.
8. Monster iCarPlay FM Transmitter
I’m a little bit obsessed with my iPod. Just a little, obviously, since it didn’t make the list. Sadly, my car does not have an mp3 jack, but this is even BETTER ‘cause this charges the iPod at the same time. I guess now I’ll have to find some other use for that case of 50 CD-R’s that’s sitting in my living room. PULL!
