Lunch

It's funny the time of day I've grown to love most.  Before getting married I never would have guessed that my favorite time of day would be lunch.  Don't get me wrong, I love eating and all meals have a special place in my heart, there's just something kinda neat about lunch.

You could say that I've been blessed by the fact that Emily was blessed enough to get her dream job 4 minutes from the house.  Usually about an hour before she takes her lunch we start emailing each other to discuss the fact that we haven't bought groceries in a while.  I end up making a run to Safeway and getting whatever seems to jump out at me and time it just right so we get back home at the same time.  When she gets home we just talk about whatever is on our mind and eat whatever awful creation I've come up with for lunch that day.  Then honestly the second half is usually spent taking a nap and then her frantically waking up and trying to get back to work.

Before we got married, I never would have assumed that I could enjoy a time of day as simple as lunch.  It's funny though because I seem to miss it quite a bit whenever we don't get it.  I can't wait to find out what the next ridiculously simple thing in my life is that I can't live with out.
